Thanks alot for your help Smile! Im thinking of making the drop landing smoother and then putting in a nice jump just like you said. I was going to make the jump at the end much bigger into a big kicker step into mulch. What you think of that?

It appears as though you have no concept of discression about local trails. Bellingham is a town that is very blessed with quite, but sick local trails. I would really like to keep it that way.

oh my GOD!!! my new rid was waaay too much for colonnade. i don't understand how people come back to colonnade still using their dh rigs. it was fun and all, but too too too much. wow, if i ever get another new bike, when i do the first test run i need to make sure to tube the suspension to an extent before i run it. i was only trying the 1st line of jumps, and on the first hit, my bike was a pogo stick and pretty much sent me into the second line! i guess i'm not used to rebound being THAT far open in the damping. Mike said i may have a chance at working at colonnade cause he's trying to get more staff on board, cool!

i tried out the large joyride drop today, and it was pretty fun. i only don't like how close the landing is.

yeah, that's kinda what i meant. whistler's schleyer has a pinpoint landing and colonnade's can be hucked as much as you want. they're only similar in that they are both drops made out of wood, hahaha

yeah, and the schleyer drop is pretty cool. aren't there going to be two options to ride ride into it? on a critical standpoint, i don't feel like that thing is at all the same as whistler's schleyer drop. ours is better! whistlers is to0 easy to overshoot. that's not an option for ours. ofcourse, i should instead say i need to work of my scrubbing skills, but now i'm just rambling

i don't know if you're working over the weekend or not, but Dry hill in Port Angeles is doing a shuttle run. go to http://olympicdirtsociety.blogspot.com/index.html to get the details if you're interested. i think it's $25 for the whole day. come a day early, work on the trails and they'll give you a discount! And there's always the bike expo if you don't feel like traveling too far...

i'm in a jiffy of a pickle... i just got the order form to buy the ironhorse sunday team, only to find out that the model is sold out! I know you have things against transition, but i think i can make it work. I can't say anything about its supension design, but i know transition did it's homework in the geometry and length departments. considering the frame replaced something that really didn't have a designated place in transitions lineup, i bet it was worked on to be a more specific dh bike over their squishy-shuishy fr bike. I don't know what to say about the TBC chain guide, but i bet it will work well considering it was built with transition frames in mind (what ever that means). while the bars, stem and cranks are a little heavy-duty, it's alright to have those extra grams. it wont change the feel on the trail.

Get some new photos, jeeze, those things are old and decrepid.... hey, i have the perfect idea!!! I'm going to be out at colonnade on sunday and possibly saturday to shoot some videos as a promotion for the up and coming park in sammamish. If you're there, i could get some shots of you, and later you'll be famous. You probably think the intermediate trails are boring, but i need to get a lot of footage on that stuff along with the jumps and pump track. thanks

i just redid the first beginners jump at colonnade. it all flows really well now. next i'll attack the larger jumps when the smallers jumps dry up. some guys who build at south seatac are going to come out some day and build a thrid larger line! i just added a lot of photos from whistler, exit 27 and colonnade. check em out.
